Our little Harley is growing like a weed, and growing a little attitude at the same time. She needs a slight attitude adjustment so we're working on that one currently. Other than her occassional fits, she is a wonderful dog (and I'm sure these fits are just normal for all puppies) and a great addition to our family.
We took Harley over to the Eastside of Portland a few weeks ago for a yummy treat...for all of us. :) Dustin and I absolutely love Grand Central Bakery over off of Weidler, so we stopped there for some yummy breakfast after a nice little morning run. Everything they serve is delicious, but that particular morning, I had an apple coffee cake and it was TO DIE FOR. And pairing anything with Stumptown Coffee is always glorious. She did great entertaining herself (on the leash, of course!), and received lots of attention and compliments from passers by.
After breakfast, we took her to Grant Park which has lots of space to run and play. She absolutely loved it. We ran her to death, which makes a nice relaxing afternoon for us while she rests.
We got a few inches of snow last week, so she experienced her first snow. She loved the snow, but we've also come to realize she isn't too fond of the rain (at least not walking in it). I don't know many dogs that don't like to go on walks, but she is one of them. Any tips? :)
And of course, the dishwasher. She "needed to help" me get them really clean, so she hopped on up there. We couldn't resist the picture, but then immediately got her down. Can't imagine a 70 pound dog on my dishwasher door. :)
