Now this is my kind of "organic farming" - the kind that I can afford. :)

~Home Grown: the way we like it~
I have just absolutely loved having our garden this year! Even though June didn't seem to have a lot of sun, our strawberries and lettuce have both done really well. The other crops aren't supposed to harvest until later, so everything seems right on schedule. It's crazy to think that just last year, we planted just 4 scrawny little strawberry plants and they have turned into a huge bundle of production. :) We have already gotten 2 big bowls of yummy, juicy, red strawberries. With this last bunch, I made freezer jam. It was my first attempt, but I think it's going to be super yummy. We also harvested a bunch of our lettuce last night for a yummy fresh salad to go with our dinner.
Now this is my kind of "organic farming" - the kind that I can afford. :)

Your garden is doing SO great. I am a little jealous I didn't have one this year... but well, I know it would have all been brown cause well Christy is growing too fast already for me!
