While in Omaha, we took a trip to the world-famous Henry Doorly zoo...no really, I am pretty sure it's one of the top in the US. It was a gorgeous day, despite the chill in the air. We took a ton of pictures, but these are a few of my favorite.
There were still quite a few animals out, despite the winter season. Most of them were in the indoor exhibits, with a few exceptions still outside. These were two of our favorite. NO LIE: this gorilla scared the bejesus out of me. I was "talking to it through the glass" but didn't think it was even paying attention to me. Suddenly, it pounced to the glass wall and started pounding on it. I am still wondering if it's just a human in a costume because it completely acted like it.
