So we finally found a few minutes after dinner tonight to drive over to our new home and check out the progress. We have seriously had so much going on and been so busy that we hadn't even been back by since we signed the contract a week and a half ago! So, they've put the siding up (no paint yet) and are getting ready to pour the concrete in for the driveway, porch, and sidewalk. Inside, they have put our cabinets in - they look awesome. Our microwave is in; the dishwasher is in the house, but still in the box; and I think the washer or dryer is in as well, but still in the box.

Happy to be at our home...now just ready to move into it. Closing September 24!

All the doors were locked (which is actually a good thing!), so we held the camera up to the windows and took a picture. this is part of the kitchen - you can see the cabinets - looking down the hallway and you can see the stairs off to the right.
