Today, Saturday, was another relaxing day, which is what vacationing on Maui should be all about. We had heard about this quaint little restaurant called the Gazebo that "has the best macadamian nut pancakes on the whole island." So today was the day to try these out! So we headed up to Napili beach, just a few minutes north of us, for some yummy food. The restaurant was literally a gazebo porch next to the swimming pool at this resort, but there was a constant line the entire time we were there. The pancakes were DELICIOUS but our eyes were much bigger than our stomachs that morning. After walking around Napili Bay, we drove just a few blocks up to Kapalua Beach to do some more good snorkeling. We saw so many fish and creatures - it was once again so cool. Amongst the ones we had already seen, we also saw a puffer fish, an eel, and one of those long skinny fish (we used to call them needle fish in Florida). It was great! Sometime between yesterday and today, Dustin acquired a sun rash along his neck and shoulders and by the afternoon, it really started to bother him. We had some natural aloe plants around our hotel and grabbed some of that to put all over him. Thanks to my oldtime friend, Ashley Ritter Mueller Hansen =) who used to have one in Florida, I knew exactly what to do with it! We eventually had to go to the store to get benadryl and rash ointment because it was really bothering him. After 4 benadryl in a matter of 6 hours, you can see what happened next!

I think this is a coral in the reef, but I am not sure. It looked really cool so I took a picture!
The line just kept growing and growing, never stopping!

We should have shared one of these pancake plates! I had banana macadamian nut and Dustin had white chocolate chip macadamian nut! WHEW!
We walked around the reefs at Napili Bay, looking at creatures and fish in the little coves. This man had a knife and was digging things out and eating them. Dustin tried to ask him questions about what he was doing, but he did not want to be Dustin's friend!
