Thursday:
Thursday evening, Naomi (maid of honor) and myself (matron of honor) invited a bunch of gals out for a fun evening to celebrate Sara - the bride to be. We started off at Sara's house with some snacks and a little craft activity. The theme for her outing was "Something Blue" so we decorated blue necklaces/nametags to wear throughout the evening. It was such a hit that some gals wore them to the various events all weekend. Sara then opened up a few gift bags that the ladies brought....which were "date night bags." She got some awesome gifts that will help provide some memorable dates for Paul and Sara. We then headed downtown for some yummy dinner. But on our way there, we split up into teams for a photo scavenger hunt. We had to take a picture of something/someone that represented various wedding says, such as "Tie the Knot," "Take the Plunge," and "In sickness and in health." There were some hilarious pictures!!! Way to go girls. We then enjoyed some yummy Mexican food at Jose Muldoons, as well as some delicious cake balls. Got to love those cake balls!!!! It was such a fun evening celebrating Sara together with some of her favorite gals.
Decorating necklaces before heading out.
Friday:
Friday morning started the way every Friday should begin: with a relaxing pedicure and spa treatment. Wouldn't that be nice? It was absolutely fabulous. A few of us were able to join Sara as we pampered ourselves before the big day. We headed straight to Sara's house afterwards for a bridal luncheon and lingerie party. Mom served up some yummy food, drinks, and then we showered Sara with some beautiful lingerie. She got some super cute stuff. Friday night was "Family Dinner Night." My parents hosted all of the Keithley family members at their house for a BBQ and Paul's sister, Laura and her husband Jason hosted all of the Karlik family members at their home. We wanted to make sure that we all got some great quality family time in during the weekend since that rarely happens during the wedding. It was some yummy food and some great fellowship. I'm so thankful that the Lord has blessed me with a great family.

Fabulous ladies with fabulous toes!
There were 6 girls and 1 car....a two-door Honda Civic. Thankfully the house was just a few miles away.
Dad, Grandpa, and Aunt Kathy enjoying the awesome weather on the back porch for dinner.
Mom, Grandma, and Josh inside the house.
Jenn and Uncle Jeff...probably discussing if they should move from Tennessee where it's so humid to Colorado where the weather is gorgeous. :)
Kari being the awesome momma of two that she is and feeding Avery and Aiden.

Saturday:
Saturday was yet another busy, busy day! Dustin finally got to see the family as his flight got in late on Friday night, once they were all in bed already. Then some of us gals, with the amazing leadership of Lori (my SIL's awesome mom), went to work on all the flowers. We made all the bouquets, corsages, boutineers, and floral arrangements. Thank goodness we started so early because it took us a bit longer than we thought. But the flowers turned out AMAZING for the wedding day. We then headed to the rehearsal, at which Paul totally surprised Sara! It was awesome...not going to lie, I had a tear or two in my eye. He is in the middle of training and had a hard enough time just getting off for the wedding. His sargent let him out that morning and he was able to get cleaned up and surprise her there! Then Tony and Karen Karlik (Paul's parents) hosted a super delicious rehearsal dinner at The Academy Hotel. It was great to spend a little more time with those who were a part of the wedding.
Paul and Sara handing out all their wedding gifts! They did a great job getting us fantastic stuff.
