~ Two Years ~

A few weeks ago, we celebrated our second wedding anniversary! It's crazy to think we have already been married for two years - an absolutely amazing and blessed two years for sure. I couldn't have asked for a better two years with a more amazing man. The Lord continues to amaze both of us at His goodness and grace in our lives; we are overwhelmed day after day.

So in honor of all of this, why not spend time celebrating at a super beautiful place.....Cannon Beach.
The weather was supposed to be crummy but we "chanced it" and went anyways because we really wanted to take our cutie patootie Harley girl along with us for her first trip....
She loved it.

Our day was filled with some fabulous things - God's beautiful creation, blue skies and sun on a March day at the coast, delicious coffee from the Sleepy Monk, Harley running free (and being super obedient!) along the sand, and some time together in the Word. I don't know about you guys, but I just love getting into God's word when you're smack in the middle of his awesome creations. Then, to top it off, we were ridiculously blessed by some friends and were able to end our trip and enjoy an extra delicious dinner at the Wayfarer, which is an ocean front restaurant that serves yummy yummy food. :) We purposefully wore Harley out at the beach because we know we'd have to leave her in the car while we ate. We came back to her cuddled up sleeping in our seats. While she's not supposed to be in them, we couldn't help but think how cute she was...and be thankful that she didn't tear the car up.

We took hundreds of pictures, but these were a few of my favorites.
Taking a minute to figure out what this sand stuff is....as soon as we took her leash off, she was in doggy heaven the rest of the day!
She loves her daddy (and so do I)!
...and her mommy.

She made lots of friends that day....
...including Rufus the Silver Lab puppy. They had so much fun together playing in the sand and water for over 20 minutes. They were about a week or so apart in age.
She loved fetching balls, eating sticks, rolling in the sand....
