~Sara's Bridal Shower~

My baby sister is getting married!!!

And I was so thankful and excited to get to spend the weekend in Colorado celebrating with her and co-hosting the shower with my mom and her friend, Amy, as well as two of the other bridesmaids - Julianne and Naomi! What a fun time....a bunch of gals getting together doing girly things. Not many better ways to spend a Saturday afternoon, if you ask me. I am so excited for Sara and Paul to begin their life together in June, so excited that my baby sister has met the man of her dreams and that he is a wonderful godly man. Welcome to the family, Paul! We love you both so much.

Me, Sara, and Mom
Naomi (Baxton), Sara, and Julianne - three of the four college besties
Playing the toilet paper dress making game....Kali (far right) was the winner!
Paul was interviewed with questions that Sara then had to guess how she thought he answered them. They were pretty funny....their first few nights as a married couple will be memorable, I'm sure. :)

Opening up gifts....how stinkin' adorable is this apron!?! Kristen got it for her - I think I may borrow it. :)
She received a bunch of her china sets, which she was very excited about.
Paul's mom and two sisters got them the Wii! :)
The theme I used for her shower was "earthy", as that is what she and Paul said they were using as inspiration for their wedding decor. I saw these cute pudding cups as an idea in a magazine, and then built the shower ideas around that; hence the green color scheme and not the navy, which she is using for her wedding colors. :)
Cake balls are quickly becoming one of my favorite desserts! :)
Amy's house was perfect for hosting a shower - she is a wonderful host! We ate lots of yummy food.
The favors for the guests were these thyme seed packets....
The yummy ice cubes with lemon and lime wedges in them....
And some extra delicious lime sherbet punch! It's not a bridal shower without it, right? :)
