Our weekend of camping was so much fun. There were 7 of us the first night and 4 of us the second night, plus 2 dogs both nights. Dustin, Erinn, Heidi, Aaron, Peggy, Trina, and Shalie. The reservoir is a huge spot great for fishing, swimming, boating, and other fun things. It's clear because it's run off from the mountains, which also means it is extremely cold! But, Dustin and I braved it twice and got in the water. On Saturday, although it was overcast and never hit the 75 and sunny that the weatherman forecasted, we went "swimming" and hung out on this huge inner tube and tried to get some sun. We also did lots of hiking and walking that day as well...and of course lots of good eating all weekend! Peggy, Trina, and Shalie left on Saturday afternoon, right after we ate strawberry shortcakes to celebrate Heidi’s 24th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI! Heidi and Aaron packed up Sunday morning to head back to Eugene, and Dustin and I relaxed and enjoyed the day together. We went for a run around camp (still training for our 5K…this weekend is the race!) and then came back and quickly put on our suits before we cooled off. We decided we were going to bathe in the water, even though it was very cold. So, we braved it and cleaned up a bit. We then laid out and got some sun, which was nice. These are just a few photos from the weekend’s trip. I am already ready to pack up and head out to the next one!
